It's that time again!

.....Well, you don't know what we can find
Why don't you come with me little girl
On a magic carpet ride.....

From Magic Carpet Ride by Steppenwolf, 1968

Welcome everybody! Lisa Swifka's One World One Heart
begins today! Another chance to meet new friends far
and wide.

I joined the Gypsy Caravan last year for the first time
and had so much fun traveling the world, seeing great art
in so many different forms. I wouldn't dream of missing
this event!

This past year has been a year of growth and change for me
because I took the chance last year to come out of my shell
and join the world. I've learned so much about what I want
out of life, what I can do and what I need to contiue working

So, in honor of my 1 year blogiversary and One World One Heart,
I'm offering this piece of work as a give-away. It seems I'm
finding my muse through music lately - this time it was
Stevie Nicks - but I have so much swirling in my brain right now,
who knows what will come of it - stay tuned!

Leave a message that includes a link back to your site or
an email where I can get in touch with you. I'll do a
drawing from all comments left at the end of this event and
contact the winner for mailing details.

Thank you for stopping by - come again anytime!

Peace, Love and Happiness to you all......

You're a shining star.....

No matter who you I'm sure that tune will be
stuck in my head for days....

Jamie's asked us today,How do you wish to shine?

I think that's an easy answer: I wish for my true self to
shine through...for my soul to glow and sparkle with truth
and love.....that I may be a source of inspiration or comfort
to anyone who should need it whether I realize it or not.

However, I sometimes think that's easier said than done...
especially when we wake up cranky or start feeling sorry for
ourselves when things don't go our way.

But, as we all know - it's the challenges in life that give
us the lessons we need in order to grow. With these
opportunities are our chances to shine.

Just showing off

Wanted to show off my latest project....for my grandson Wyatt.
I'm still very much a beginner, so things like this take for
ever....but here's the Spiderman blanket....I found the pattern

And here's Wyatt with his new blanket -

Since I have 3 more grandsons + 1 on the way, I'm going to
be busy for a while....
